Been really down lately. I had a large commission for six paintings I worked on September through December, and it's just kind of demoralizing to realize I have nothing worthwhile to do now that that is over with. Except apply to positions that don't exist, and try to make more friends. I'm feeling better today, but it's just frustrating to be adrift, with no power over your situation beyond repeated (failed) attempts at persuasion. Like having a feather for an oar, in the middle of the Pacific.

This journal entry is really just a replacement. But, I've been doing this art thing for years and years. Back to your business, now. Shoo.
